Every funeral is different. Some families want services filled with music and shared memories. Others prefer something quieter and more intimate. There’s no right, no wrong.
You’ll be greeted by our caring, knowledgeable team. We’ll clearly explain each step, answer all your questions, and give you the support you need. Before, during and after the service.
Our Ceremony Hall offers a sense of reflection and stillness – it’s filled with natural light, the large window framing views of the surrounding hills. It seats 154 guests, with space for 80 more to follow the service on the screens in our indoor waiting area.
Each service is a full hour, giving you time to welcome guests, hold the ceremony, and see any floral tributes in your own time. If you need longer – for multiple speakers or a more detailed tribute – we can arrange a double service.
Families often bring items that reflect the life being remembered: photographs, instruments, artwork or keepsakes. We support a wide range of tributes, from live choirs and pipers to quiet, instrumental music.
You can choose music from our digital library, provide your own, or request our Allen Organ be played. Visual tributes like photo slideshows or short videos can be shown on our large screens.
Every committal is carried out with great care. A soft, translucent voile gently surrounds the casket – a calmer, gentler approach. If you want to spend a private moment beside the casket, our team is on hand to support you.
Some people find it helpful to see our Ceremony Hall or walk in our gardens before the day. Others come with questions about music, seating or accessibility. Whatever you need, we take the time to talk it through with you. You’re always welcome to arrange a visit.
This hour-long service provides space for readings, tributes, music and moments of reflection. It’s ideal for families who want time to share stories and acknowledge the life that was lived.
A gentle 15-minute morning gathering for up to 20 close family and friends. No celebrant will be there unless you choose to have one, and up to three pieces of music can be played.
Sunset Service
Held at 4pm in spring and summer, and seating as many as 30 guests, this 30-minute service is led by our resident celebrant. Calm and intimate, it’s often chosen for its softer light and reflective atmosphere.
For those who prefer an unattended cremation, this early morning service takes place when the grounds are quiet and still. Gentle music plays as your loved one is cared for with dignity by our team.
Many families stay in our gardens for a while. Others come back in the days and weeks that follow, finding comfort in the landscape, and in the Sleeping Warrior Garden of Remembrance.
In time, you may want to talk to us about interment of ashes and memorial options.
